Does anyone know if the internal Verizon cards in the T61p and X61 are Rev A or 0? Is anyone using an aftermarket internal Sprint WWAN? Rev A or 0? I can't seem to find this info online.

They are rev A. If you are considering installing itself, you are in for quite a ride.

No, we are ordering 5 T61p and 1 X61 with them pre-installed. I wanted to make sure they are Rev A before getting the internal cards.

I called Lenovo/IBM and they can't seem to give me a strait answer. The tech said he can only find drivers for Rev 0... that doesn't mean it's not Rev A though. So, I'm just wondering how you know it's Rev A. Do you own the card and have specific knowledge that it is Rev A? If so, what speeds are you seeing? I'm especially interested in upload speed as that will be the indication or Rev A or 0. Rev A should be between 500-800k while Rev 0 will be ~128k.

The T61p Verizon version comes with Rev.A

If you check the parts list on the Lenovo website it will also show only the Rev.A part number only. Not sure about other laptop models.

Themonga, I just activated this morning and work is in a very low signal area so I am afraid I do not have enough experience to give you a meaningful answer.

The card is definitely Rev A. I installed mine this weekend and saw the label.

Thank you all for confirming this for me. Our company's Verizon rep also finally got back to me this afternoon and also confirmed that the Lenovo cards are Rev A.
