    Is T430 lid thinner than T420 lid?

    From pictures, it seems like T430 lid is noticeably thinner than the T420 lid. But according to this picture, they are the same width. Can anyone here pitch in?

    I think they are the same thickness... I think T420 and T430 basically have the same chassis save for the keyboard.

    I believe CW is correct about the case being the same. I've held them both and didn't notice any difference, though it was not one after the other.

    According to the specs the T420 is 30.1 to 30.5 mm in height, while the T430 is 29.8 to 29.9 mm. So it is true the T430 is slightly slimmer, it's probably not discernible without a ruler, my opinion of course.
