I remember this used to be a general Lenovo sales/customer service number. When I called it yesterday, a woman with Indian accent answered the phone, and first she asked for my name and date of birth, then went on to say, to the effect that, you are calling the right (Lenovo? I don't remember if she said that) phone number, however, due to the high volume of calls. we can answer your questions, and because of the inconvenience, we will send you a gift card of $200 worth that can be used to shop at Walmart, Home Depot..... You will receive the gift card in a few days. You will need to pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Then she started asking for my preferred payment method. She said that it is a Platinum reward department, and that she would transfer me to the department I was looking for. This was obviously a fraud.

I know Lenovo has quite a few phone numbers, but what happened to the above number?
