Recently I had replaced my internet. Got a new router and modem. However the internet keeps getting disconnecting from my Lenovo Ideapad Y410p. First i thought it was the router or modem but after testing with other pc's i've found that its some problem with my laptop. Can someone help me diagnose and fix this problem?

Uninstall Proset/WiFi drivers and software except for Bluetooth and let Windows 8 install its included drivers (14.8.8.75). See if you get a more stable connection.

Why is this happening for only this internet/wifi connection?

Uninstalling intel PROset, and setting the n mode to Auto helps too

It doesn't happen with Intel's only. I've seen other Lenovo ideapads with Atheros cards dropping WiFi too. I'd say the main reason is radio interference. Where I live I have literally over 25 routers on 2.4 GHz in range and once a day I get huge speed drops and signal strength drops even when I'm 10 feet away from the router. Other laptops also get the speed drops too. Sometimes, I can get through the day without interference. This is just the downside of living close to an apartment complex.
