The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Internet Explorer Problem with T61?

    I just got my new T61 and it's pretty good...but it seems that IE isn't running very well. It opens fine, but when I try to close it it takes forever, and I often have to use Task Manager to shut it...

    Will a clean install fix this problem? I also have only 1 gig of memory right now...temporarily until I wait for my other 1 gig to arrive. Could that be the problem as well?
