My T61p just passed it's third Anniversary and I was wondering if I need to start thinking about replacing the internal battery? And if so, should I order it from Lenovo or???

the CMOS battery can last anywhere from 5~15 years.   i have a 15-year-old ThinkPad 701c in my possession and the CMOS battery JUST died this week... literally.

worry about it when it actually dies.   chances are you probably won't even own the system when it does. ;)
