My T61 has a little buzzing/humming noise. The noise is hardly noticeable unless you listen for it. It's similar to the noise you on some computers when you move the mouse and noise comes from the speakers. It seems to come from the hard drive or somewhere around there. Is this normal? Do I need to get my computer fixed?

Try installing RMClock and then locate the "Popup mode" option and uncheck it. If that solves your problem, then its the notorious CPU whine issue.
