Decided to take a look at the hardware manual for the C200 up on the Lenovo site, to get an idea of the internals of the new system. Turns out basically every key part is easily upgradable through a slot/cover on the bottom of the unit. Ram, CPU, HD, wireless card, etc are all a single slot cover away  .

Maybe this is a sign to come of a more geek friendly system that can be updated down the road without tearing apart half the laptop in the process?

EDIT: One downside though is they kept the same LCD as the C100, which has a pretty weak contrast ratio and viewing angle.

EDIT EDIT: More LOL. Sony is no longer listed as a secondary part source for the battery. Before it was Sanyo and Sony... now it is only Sanyo. I wonder if this holds true on all the other new models coming out. Looks like someone got burned (hahaha)
