Intel has a new driver out for the 4965 AGN module, I'm wondering if it would be safe to install it. Or should I wait for Lenevo to publish it. I've heard that sometimes installing drivers that aren't publish by the manufacture can mess up a system because the manufactures tweak the drivers for there systems.

Anyone know this to be true?

    Thanks

Wait if at all. If you're system's working, why mess with it?

I think you should wait for Lenovo. I tried to install with Intel 5300 Driver and found not working with HOTKEY. After that I tried with Lenovo's Driver and it worked fine with eveything. So... why not use Lenovo's Driver ?

I guess I'll do that. This laptop (T61) seems to run slower on the same network as my other two. Even my 5 year old S360 VAIO with an Intel 2915 module is faster. I did disable Access Connetions in the Think Vantage program and that helped quite a bit. Maybe I should uninstall the current driver and reinstall it again?
