I just updated my Intel 1030 wifi drivers to 14.3.1.1 per the Intel website IntelĀ® Driver Update Utility and have had nothing but problems.
After waking up, I have to manually connect to my preferred wireless networks (this is in multiple locations, so I know it's not a router issue). After I say "connect" it takes a good 120 seconds to connect. Once connected, everything works perfectly... this is just the connection process, and what a huge pain!!
Lenovo.com driver support lists the most recent version as 14.2.0.10 Drivers and software - IdeaPad U300s Notebook which is older than the official Intel drivers... I'm rolling back to see if this helps. I'll post back results.
Any others experiencing this issue? Especially U300s owners, but others with this same card... appreciate any info.

Solved... but not as easy as a driver rollback.
Not just rolling back to the older 14.2.0.10 drivers, but uninstalling the newer Intel Proset software and reinstalling from the Lenovo driver .exe file. Finally connecting back to wireless fast and with no prompts.
SO, take caution updating drivers bypassing Lenovo. (with that said, the Dell Cypress touchpad drivers are awesome, so you never know until you try).
