I'm trying to install the latest drivers for my X1C6 and noticed that Intel is no longer bundling the control panel with the new Intel DCH graphics drivers. If you look at the driver version for the Intel HD graphics driver on Lenovo's site it is 24.20.100.6223 which came out in October but if you go to Intel's site, you will see that the latest drive version is 25.20+.

Should I be getting my drivers from Lenovo's site or Lenvo Vatange system? Also, if I get the Intel graphics drivers directly from Intel's site, is there a way to get the control panel back without Microsoft store? I absolutely hate Microsoft store and I always disable it.

Get the latest one from Intel, windows will get the graphics control panel automatically if you connect to the internet EVEN WITHOUT the windows store app installed (in my case, 1809 LTSC).

Doing so will usually nuke Lenovo Chromatune, if you use that.

I'm running 1803 and I have installed the latest intel drivers from Intel and I don't see the control panel. Do I need to do a windows update now or something? I have disabled all the services related to Microsoft Store so maybe it could be that?

EDIT: Btw, do you see the control panel in your context-menu when you right click or is it a separate app?

    It's a separate app, UWP.

So I think you can find it using the windows search.

The Windows Store version just straight up won't launch. What a dumpster fire.

    For which iGPU?
When I tested with 1809 LTSC on 8750H the control panel opened without any issue, although this version doesn't have windows store so I can't say I tested the same software as you.
