just wondering how much difference the real world maximum speed between 5100 & 5300 are. I did not test the range which i'm not very concerned about, but with just 5 feet apart, I'm able to achieve wireless N transfer from my Desktop(gigabit wired to my N router) to my T400 with 9.3-9.8MB/sec. I've transferred files from 1GB-9GB.

I'm especially interested in the result from the 5300 users.
