The T500 (haven't checked other models) now has the Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150 as its highest wireless option, $12.75 (cpp) more than the Intel WiFi Link 5300 option. I know nothing about this technology, but is it an option that would be good to have on a new computer?

    Thanks,
    Bill

5150 is just the 5100 but with the extra WiMAX. Depends if you think you'll ever use WiMAX.

Thanks. Seems like I would rather have the cheaper 5300.
