When I go into the Intel Turbo Memory console it says readyboost and readydrive are disable but it will not let me enable them. And yes I have vista. Any suggestions?

I was searching around the computer and I discovered that there is a code 10 error with the memory but when windows cannot find any solutions for it. Also i found something interesting, I have a more current driver than what is provided at the intel site??

click the start button and type in services.msc. When that comes up go to the readyboost service and make sure that it is enabled and set to automatic. If it's not then change and also press the start box.

Have a read of this Anandtech article. Turbo Memory requires a few reboots to get it working.

enable readyboost first, restart your pc. then enable readydrive, restart your pc.

you should be good from there.

try to see your SATA configuration settings under BIOS is in "AHCI" mode instead of "Compatibility" mode... i fixed mine changing from compatibility mode to AHCI mode. but i had to reinstall Vista tho. not sure if this is the right solution.

I think you'd be better off with it disabled.

Seriously. Don't stick your head in the toilet. There's nothing to find.
