Hi,
Ive ordered a 1Gb Intel turbo memory module for my T61, and from reading these forums Ive found out that two screws required are not included.
Ive called Lenovo here in Australia to try to get the screws, but for some reason they weren't able to give them to me.
My only other option is to buy the screw kit (41W4504) which with postage and handling totals AUD$33. This is an overkill for the two M2 x3mm screws required for the turbo memory module.
Can anyone advise of the size and type of screws they've used to attach the module to the mini pci express adapter. Hopefully I can go to an electronics store and buy these for a couple of dollars instead of $33.
Thanks

Do you have a local computer shop? They should have a bunch of extra hardware for repairs.

Do the screw holes for the min pci express slot take ordinary pc screws?
If so I have these lying around at home.
I was under the impression that there were specific screws to use. -
Use any that will fit.
