Took apart my T510 lately to diagnose a problem with the headphone jack not recognizing a connection. Putting the thing all the way back together, I realize I didn't document which antenna wire goes where! (Oops.)

So I have three wires: black, which routes to the left side of the monitor and; white and grey, which both route to the right side of the monitor. The 622 is a two-antenna card, so one of these was disconnected and sitting underneath some tape.

I picked up the T510, T510i and W510 hardware maintenance manual and it seems to indicate that black sides on top and grey on bottom. So that's how I put it in when I booted back up the first time. No dice - windows doesn't pick up any networks. I do see two devices in the device manager under Network Adapter: Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N AGN and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Mini port Adapter. I'm assuming this means the card is hooked up and working properly but I'm not positive.

After this I tried all possible configuration is of these antennae, fully shutting down the computer to let the BIOS and the card do their things on boot-up. None worked. At this point, I'm wondering if the card checks the antennae impedance to ensure their hooked up properly and, in the event they aren't, shut down the drivers to protect the internals? May be far fetched, but I don't know how far they'd go.

So could anybody with experience replacing these cards chime in? What's the proper antenna configuration for these cards? Anyone care to open up their PC to check which color is "main" and which is "aux"? Thanks in advance!
