So I ordered a T400 on 10/11 with an Intel 5350 wireless card, which has WiMAX support. According to my order page, it will ship on 11/10 (there is a 3-4 week delay because the 5350 is a new option). Now when I look at the T400 part of Lenovo's site, the 5350 option is gone. Does this mean I'm not going to get the 5350 either?

From any legitimate buyer, you will get exactly what you paid for. If they removed the option after you bought it, it is likely because they are understocked on the wimax. You should get what you paid for and if you don't, you should get a full refund.

You will get the 5350, it just may take a long time. A lot of the people that ordered the x200 tablet have already had their ship date pushed back multiple times (some originally were to ship on 10 October, now they are seeing 04 November). I presume this is due to lack of supply (I don't think there are any production units in the wild yet either from Lenovo or provantage). I have my fingers crossed that my x200t will ship on 31 October, but I am not getting my hopes up. Just don't be surprised if your order gets pushed back once or twice as well.

Are they going to offer WiMax for the T500?

Also why is it lenovo seems to have a history of offering something on their web site and then it mysteriously disappears in like another day or so? It seems people on myspace have more control and detail over their personal web page updates than lenovo does on their business site
