My integrated camera worked when I first got my T400. Now it doesn't. I called Tech Support and they said I had to find software to work with the camera.
The camera does not show up in the Scanners and Cameras control panel, where USB2.0 PC Camera is supposed to show up. Therefore I can't access the Scanner and Camera Wizard.
I have updated the driver to the current release (5.8.53003.0, dated Oct. 2). It made no difference.
In the Device Manager, it appears the driver is working properly.
What is wrong? What do I need to do? Do I really have to go searching from some kind of camera control software?

Same thing happens to me. The camera is not in the Scanners and Cameras device list.
I can control it using Skype though (that's how I know that it works). Lenovo really should release their own software that let you control the camera.

What did you use to get it working at the start?
Do you not have the lenvo camera centre app located in the intergrated camera folder in programs?
I admit it is not much but it has that roxio program which provides some basic functionality at least on my T500.
