    Hi guys.
here i got a question .Help me plz cause i bought my thinkpad*R52* in norway & its windows lang. is Norsk so I dont understand anything from it !!!! I need to install an english win XP on this system . Should I worry about IBM default OS that would run if you press ACCESS IBM button @ startup? or just insert the bootable disc & install it ? What about drivers that are in c:/IBMTOOLS/ ???

    Any articles about this ?

    With regards.

    Shahab.

keep the ethernet driver & the software installer on a disk. then reinstall windows. then install the ethernet drive & the software installer. run the software installer & it will download all the drivers you need from ibm.

Definetly burn off the drivers folder. Maybe you could buy a set of english recovery discs from Leveno? If you can get a hold of an XP Pro disc, Microsoft should validate it for you.

Installing is fairly easy, just follow the prompts. Make sure you have a product key that will work.
