I noticed that when I remove the battery and use my Thinkpad T60 notebook pc just connected to the power supply, the PC's performance drastically declines as compared to when theres a battery attached with power supply.

Is there any way to fix this, or improve the performance such that it is as good without a battery connected?

The battery is removed to prolong its lifetime.

Thank you all for any help! :D

Do you use power profiles? Could be that your default plug-in profile is marked down.
