Lenovo offers the Thinkpad T61 w/ Vista Basic, quite a bit cheaper. I already have a free copy of XP Professional from my school. Will it be a big hassle to buy the thinkpad with Vista basic, and reinstall XP Pro on it?
Has anybody tried this? This would be a non-issue for a desktop, but I've found that drivers for laptops are often very hard to find.

I've done it, it's the same as any other notebook. Lenovo has XP drivers, so that should be no problem.
