As the title states I have limited or no connectivity.

Yesterday I installed a new hard drive into my LENOVO 3000 N100 notebook, I updated with windows xp service pack 3 and various other updates off the Microsoft website. I also installed CCleaner, Comodo Firewall and Avira Anti-Virus.

I'm running on an Ethernet Netgear cable router, the computer I'm typing on is connected to that same router, and the net works, but not on my laptop..

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling SP3, the connectivity worked immediately after the download completed, but when I restarted the machine as it requested, the next time I logged on I was back to where I started.

I have disabled my WLAN port/connector just incase it was interfereing, and no.

    Installed sp3, not internet connection.

Router/Modem are both operational, else I would not be typing.

CABLE ROUTER not wireless like everyone else whoo is having issues apparently...
