I believe I read a post this past week that contained a reference and/or link to a tool that you could download that would scan your system and identify all installed hardware, e.g., motherboard, display, keyboard, etc, by manufacturer and part number. Does anyone know what the link/tool is? Thanks in advance.

Try enter your Lenovo model 4digit type and serial no.(with alphabet codes) here:

It may not tell you the actual motherboard maker, but I guess other gurus on forum may help you out.
