I tried doing the clean install for Vista but something went wrong when I backed up the activation using orev's tool. Will installing from my hidden partition install an activated version of Vista? If so, how do I do it? Right now I'm using recovery cd's, but I'm not sure if it will install an activated version of Vista because I created the recovery cd's with another laptop, so I'm guessing that what may actually happen is the other laptop's cd key will be used. The other laptop is a T61p, while the one that I'm using the recovery cd's for is a T61.

Sorry for posting, I think I found out. I can use the Base Admin software, right?
