Catch a tiger by a toe? Not sure if thats how it goes or not, but that's not the point,
The point is I'm going to buy a T61 tonight but I am caught between two worlds, so I need some votes.

If you had to choose between these two which would you choose and why? Oh and any critism of my final build scheme?

I really wanted to get a 14" linux t61 but they didnt have the penryn processor.
I mean does an extra 1 inch really affect mobility that much? I can't judge because my last laptop was a 7 pound inspiron 6000.
I'm ready to have an awesomepad! ;)

What'd you do to get the price down from the $1,200's to the $800's?

    I can't decide.
I mean, I just don't know how much more portable 14" is vs. 15". That's my main concern.
Plus one question I forgot to add is how useful is a WWAN capability, I'll never pay for it, but could I just use my current phone service to use it? I think I read somewhere that I could.

EDIT: Is the 14" keyboard smaller?
EDIT 2: No the 14" isn't smaller, incase anybody else is wondering, ha.

It is unlikely that you could use your existing phone service to use it. Even if you got it to work it would be considered tethering and if you weren't paying for tethering service you might find yourself hit with $$$ in per-kilobyte charges.
