Hi everyone, I thought about posting this into the "What should I buy" subforum, but I'm mostly just looking for info on this specific laptop. I'm a college student on an extremely tight budget and I've been doing a ton of research on what to buy. I came across the S210 and I can't seem to find many reviews on it. I understand fully that its processing capabilities aren't of the highest grade and its hardware isn't sexy, but as I said, I'm on a tight budget and I'm mostly just looking for something to write papers on, browse the web quickly, and watch movies without it overheating or slowing down (which is what my current one does). Amazon has a deal on the S210 for $299 with free shipping which seems like an amazing deal, and from what I've read, it seems like a pretty good laptop for the price. Can anyone help me out?

My aunt bought the S400 for her business. I set it up for her and was impressed by the build quality, screen and the overall package. It's $379 + tax right now at BB for cyber Monday . The battery lasts about 4-5 hrs which is not horrible and can be replaced on the fly BTW. I would recommend it without hesitation. Cheers.

Edit : the ones at Amazon are refurbished, while the ones at BB brand new for like $20 more

So, a few more questions. Is the S400 essentially a bigger, better version of the S210? Also, when it comes to refurbished laptops, are there any common problems there that I should know about? Or is it worth just spending the extra $20 or so to buy a brand new one?
