Anybody have a good way to get Two Finger Inertial Scroll on a Thinkpad? I mean something better than the "Enable Coasting" feature on the Synaptics control panel.

I had an HP Envy 14 that I returned for various reasons and I got a T420s instead. The T420s is so much better except I can't find a way to get inertial scroll working on it. On the HP I used a program envytouchpad.exe that I found here.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-envy-hdx/563791-definitive-guide-envy-trackpad.html

That worked really well and I felt like I was using an IPhone interface on my HP. I can't that program to work on the T420s because Norton keeps deleting it. Any help would be appreciated. And yes, I am aware of Trackpoint scrolling with the middle button. I just prefer to use the Trackpad.

Cool. I'll give it a try when I get home.

Are you sure the program provides inertial scroll and not just two finger scroll (which is already enabled on the Thinkpad)? Inertial scroll is not mentioned anywhere on the website.

I'm not really sure about inertial scroll. But after installing it, the trackpad behavior is identical to my Macbook. Make sure to turn on smooth scrolling though. If you are using Chrome, you can also download the Smooth Scroll extension which will definitely give you inertial scrolling.

I installed TwoFingerScroll tonight. Although it does not have inertial scroll (where you can basically flick the page and it scrolls for a while, slowing down and eventually stopping), it does make two finger scrolling on the touchpad a lot easier to do. I think this is as good as its going to get with two finger scroll without inertia. Thanks!
