    Hi All,

I have a R61i which has 2GB of DDR2 PC5300 667MHz RAM. One is the original Samsung 1GB stick and the second is a Crosair Valueselect RAM I've put in. CPUz shows the RAM to be

    Memory: 2038 MB DDR2
    Frequency: 332.5 MHz @ 5-5-5-15

Why is the frequency 332.5? Am I misunderstanding the frequency score here or is this a mistake with CPUz?

    Regards,
    Jeremy

DDR(2) stands for double data rate. So multiply the Freq by two and see what you get :) .

Like he said, the actual frequency of the ram is 333MHz, but because it's a double data rate chip, it actually runs at the correct 667MHz.
