Hello everyone. I have a T61 XP Pro. I recently uninstalled norton internet security 2007 and opted to go with kaspersky. I noticed that the folder NORTONIS remains in the APPS section of my SWTOOLS folder. I then tried the norton removal tool, to no avail. Is it ok to remove this folder? I dont want to just manually delete it without knowing. Thanks!

yea it should be ok, sometimes the uninstall tool leaves settings folders incase you re-insall the program, you wont have to redo all the settings.

there are two kinds of people in this world...those who have installed norton internet security and those who know somebody who has installed norton internet security.

The swtools folder is what holds all the preloaded Lenovo apps. It (norton) should still be there even after the uninstall.
