No and no. Everything is not alright as long as i am here. It been close to 5 months and the family still hasn't gotten it together to get me my T61 yet, although to be fair, I'm not sure I really want it here because things have a way of wondering off. Maybe i'll make do on an old Dell I have.

Glad to see you back even if it's in a limited manner.

What kind of connectivity does the hospital have that's available to patients and their families? I've read that some hospitals are beginning to provide it. My local hospitals don't have it yet, and during the many hours I spent there during my father's illnesses, I complained constantly to every administration person who would stand still for a moment and included it as a suggestion for improvement in the followup satisfaction survey they sent.

I live in a small town far from what could be termed civilization and my local hospital has free WiFi available 24/7. I sometimes use it when my internet connection isn't working.

    Nonny,
Thank you and keep trying. They dont know it but a computer is best for this kind of ailment because it places such a load on us. especially in the beginning.

    Zaz,
I remeber you clearly. Keep up a the magnificent work. I am still here here and I'll be back.

    Hi Renee,

Keep your spirits up and maintain your optimism!

My neighbor's mother fell head-first off of her bicycle and spent over 3 weeks in a coma. When she came to, she had no short term memory and considerable lack of long term as well.

Now, she is totally functional and back on her own -- as I recall, it hasn't been a year since the accident (could be shorter -- my memory's not so good... :) ).

    Nonny,
Here they aren't with it all and and I can't believe it. They barely even know the internet exists. They will let us install it ourselves and pay for it on our own but thats about it. They're very backwards. They'ed have to be described as a backwards team.
