Provide me with an EPP ID and Last name. I'd appreciate it more than you know! I'm not going to give you my college spill.

I'd love to order the T43 (2687DRU), 1.86 Ghz Sonomas processor, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD, 14.1" monitor, SXGA+, 4.8 lbs and the ultra cool fingerprint reader.

Just say I'm in need of a new notebook and would appreciate it if someone would be willing...if not I understand completely. ;) Either way, excellent site!!! If anyone needs help with Cisco networking (i.e. VPN, MPLS, etc.) I can help. ;)

I tried to get the EPP discount through a relative of my friend but so far no luck. I think I am just going to use the education department, that for a 2373M3U still gets me 500 dollars off. In the end, it might even be better to go with the education department bc you get the free stuff (like port replicator) that you would not get with EPP.

Appreciate the advice, although I just purchased two BRAND NEW 2374K5U T42's for $2200 cash (for both)...not a bad deal considering they retailed at $2600 a piece. Good luck with your purchase and thanks again.

Where did you find such a great deal? I believe $1100 for a T42 SXGA+ is too cheap even with EPP (and as I understand you had difficulty getting an EPP discount) ?

They did not include a box, paperwork, etc. The only thing included was the AC adapter. They were excess inventory for a company...my buddy found the deal through an associate. :centrino:
