    can I send back an unopened Thinkpad Package to Lenovo and get all the money back without any charges?

    I believe as long as it's unopened you can, but you may be subject to a restocking charge.

    As mentioned, contact Lenovo; only they can tell you for sure.

    I'm sure that there is another reason why he's thinking about returning it other than "not liking it". Maybe money issues came up, or he decided to get something smaller/larger.
