Hey all,
Got a hypothetical situation. Say I end up not liking the T420 for a number of reasons after testing it out for a couple of days. Would it be worth it to pay the shipping and hefty 15% restocking fee, or eBay it?
Got the T420 for $911 with the i5-2410M, Intel 6300 wifi card, and the webcam.

Don't forget ebay will slam you with final value fees. See what they're selling for on ebay and do the math.

Kind of a strange thing to be thinking about. If I didn't think I'd enjoy something I probably wouldn't gamble $1,000 on it. So my answer is to go back in time and research.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
You would be better off selling it locally or just bite the bullet and returning it to Lenovo.

If you REALLY didn't want it, I'd return it to Lenovo, and just eat the restocking fees.

Poll options fixed. Ship it to me
In all seriousness, though, you should really make sure you want the T420 before you order/before the order goes through. 15% is not a small chunk, and you will lose a significant amount of time and money if you were to resell it. -

Sent mine back yesterday. Will take the Hit of 15%
Keyboard was great.
Weight was OK
Power of system was some what of a disappointment
Size of screen was good
Screen was just bad unless you looked directly straight on from dead center -
i voted shipping it to midnightsun. i know he'd do the same for me.
if you feel like passing part of the price difference onto someone else, the NBR marketplace or TPF marketplace are great options. this will by far put more money in your pocket than ebay. -

I have a HD+ T420. The screen is really no different than its predecessors in terms of viewing angle.
If I don't like it, return or eBay?
