I've bought a Lenovo X270 convinced it was full hd but I've the effective sensation it is only HD (and even not IPS).
How can I identify the FRU part or any other serial number associated with the specific display I've on my laptop ?
And then how can I find its complete specs ?
Thanks

Did you try right clicking on the monitor in Device Manager? If you go to the details tab and select Hardware IDs, that will give you clues sometimes. HWiNFO is another option, though I have not used it in a long time. I don't think Lenovo is publishing the FRUs like they used to do. Posting this over on ThinkPads.com or the Lenovo forums may illicit more replies. I haven't swapped a screen in 10 years, so I'm a bit rusty.
I say if it was sold as FHD or IPS and it's not, send it back if possible. -
But before I want to be sure if it's effectively full hd or not.
Later I'll check it, following your suggestions.

Well, its not FHD, its a 723p display, you might be able to upgrade it to a FHD IPS display, given that its an eDP display, there are lots of models to choose from.

Which is the cost of an upgrading to full hd IPS ?
Maybe the seller refund me for the issue to have received hd panel instead full hd.
