    Besides the Screen Size, what is the difference between the two?

    The Y550 is the newer generation, and (IMO) looks a lot nicer, has a 16:9 aspect ratio screen, updated (and upgraded) graphics capability, and a multitouch touchpad. More information here.

    DANG IT! I should have waited, as I just bought a Y530 about a month ago.
    Oh well, this happens to everybody.

    Yes I've been looking for a while, and after narrowing down I've discovered that lenovo would offer the best performance for the buck. Just not sure what the difference will be, I'm gonna call lenovo tomorrow.
