Does anyone have a quote number for when Lenovo made the price mistake? It was foolish not to write my original quote number down, but Lenovo is now refusing to do my price match, AFTER being assured it would automatically be taken care of after I was charged.
So, can anyone please help a brutha out??

I rdered my Low-Spec on 9/25, says it ships 10/9.
Also understand: they try to collect as much orders as possible to shipe them at once. But honestly, I would be pissed, too, if they would delay it 4 weeks. -
I ordered the higher configuration on september 27 i think so, and the est.ship day is October 6.

Has anyone tried running a triple display set up using the HDMI and VGA outputs? The ATI settings shows up to 4 displays. I'd love to move from a dual display to a triple!

I saw a post in the accessories forum about the Zeroshock sleeve. Looks like the way to go. There's also a messenger style bag that looks pretty good.

yup, reviews were great, so I just ordered my black Zeroshock III sleeve from Japan. According to the seller, it should be here in 6-9 days. All the black sleeves are sold out here in the states. -
Which color did you go with? The orange would work well with the orange touchpad buttons. Let us know how it is when you get it!

Shipping delayed once again without notification or explanation... 10/14. My emails about shipping delays has not been addressed for 72 hours. I will definitely never be buying from Lenovo again.

If I were you I'll be patient, if in your opinion this is a great buy. Perhaps ask for $50.00 credit like some here just did few days ago. -

I thought the same thing when people were saying they were told October and I got a ship notice on 9/23. I received mine in two days, shipping from NC to FL.
You should be able to track it in the morning!

I just checked my email and I just got a shipping notice as well for my lower spec u330. perhaps all the factory workers are back from holiday? original ship date was 10/06, ordered 9/08/08

I just got my shipping notification too.
Ordered 9/1, ship date said 10/13 yesterday after it was delayed from 9/29.
They shipped it with ups 3 day select too. -
I wonder how their order shipping system works... they seem to ship very randomly. I ordered 9/5, shipping date was 9/17, 9/30, 10/3, 10/6, 10/9, 10/14...

Hey I just check my estimate ship date and it's been changed from 10/01/2008 to 10/15/2008. A full 2 weeks delay.
So I have to wait a whole month for Lenovo to ship my laptop.
Should I demand a $50.00 credit? -

Order Status has been 10/1 since then
Phone rep claimed 10/6
Order Status now says 10/15
...Then I got an email this morning stating that my order has shipped.
Glad it's finally coming, confused at how a$$ backward their status claims are. -
Happened to my T400 order too...been waiting since Aug 5th for it....canceled that order and order the U330....not surprised to see this at all

Dell had at least a 4 week lead time a few months ago when I had an order with them and their XPS line has been out forever.
The U330 is brand new and i'm sure it's a huge logistic challenge to get their suppliers in line to meet their need dates.

Be patient, there still isnt a laptop out there with the value of the U330. It looks like they are shipping them in batches.

Again, something to note is their website is not directly linked with the supply/build side for updates. That is why the website updater is showing a much longer value. If you call, they have a more correct date and time. For the record...
Order date - 8/29
Original Estimated Shipping date - 9/26
Called to check status, new ship date via phone - 10/6
On 9/27, website estimated date - 10/15
Received Shipping notice - 10/1
So, like other Lenovo notebooks, whatever the final showing/estimated date they give you, the real ship times are falling a week shorter and at about 1 month from original order. When I get mine possibly by tomorrow or at the latest Monday, I think I will hold off for a minute opening it. The battery life, like others, is bothering me a bit as this was to be a college laptop that I could go most of the morning with without plugging it in and I don't want to be caught with a notebook that runs dry halfway through my 3rd class.
For those that have received and begun to use yours, please continue to update this thread with your average actual battery life times.

I called lenovo and they said my $50 back is approved. But they also said I won't be able to redeem it until my laptop ships. How did the process work for the others who got $50 back?

I ordered mine on August 28 and got an initial ship date of Sep/25/2008 then got pushed back into the Oct 9th group. I decided that I was tired of waiting and called them to cancel. I eventually got to the cancellation desk where they asked if there was anything they could do to save the sale. I said yeah, have it here by Friday. It shipped late last night and is due in tomorrow.
If you guys don't want to wait anymore you should give that a try, worked for me. -
I tried that with my T400.....I said I was tired of waiting and that the sales rep said I could cancel that day if it is not shipped yet....they didn't really care anyway.....maybe because the demand was so high during that period of time....but it might work if you get a good sales rep

I tried as well and they didn't give a ****. I also told them I regretted my purchase and they said "have a nice day" and hung up on me. Lenovo seems to be the equivalent of Sprint when it comes to customer service. They also told me despite the delays they will shipping via UPS Ground.

U should try to talk to another person. Did you ask to talk to the supervisor? You have the sales rep. ID right?
File a complain against the sales rep.
Don't know if any of these will help but worth a try. -
I will file a complaint. I also spoke with others to similar effect (minus them hanging up on me). I've also tried live chat, which is a vast improvement, but they still are unreliable and uncooperative.

Ive called lenovo like 4 times, within the past 3 weeks. And 3 out of those 4 times the reps were very rude. The last time i called which was two days ago, the rep was nice, he apologized for the delay and he said my laptop would be shipped out between then and 10/6. I guess you just have to keep trying until u get a nice rep.

I can hook you up with the contact info for a VERY helpful and cooperative rep that personally handled my case. I waited a full month and a half for mine, so he offered a credit.
This is a warning to everyone:
ANY agreement that a rep makes with you over the phone, INSIST that they email it to you. Lenovo has fought the price match that I had done over the phone and refuses to credit the $100 difference... very frustrating. SO, simply ask the agent to email any agreement to you so you have written proof.
