    Hello everyone.

I'm new here, so go easy on me, as I'm not that tech savvy.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 that I got last December. It has a dedicated GeForce 310m in it. Basically, I am wondering if it is possible for that graphics card to be replaced by something better.

I know that sometimes laptops have issues with replacing graphics cards, but I'm not sure how to check if I can remove it or not.

I don't have the laptop with me atm, so I can't post a full specs list, but I'm pretty sure it was the standard IdeaPad setup, with an i5 processor and of course the 310m as opposed to the integrated graphics that comes as standard with the Z560.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Most computers nowadays have the graphics card soldered in, which is hard to remove without proper tools.

However, you can "replace" the graphics card through an external graphics card, if your computer has an express card slot.
