I'm surprised there are no threads about it yet. It's available from Newegg and Lenovo. Does anyone plan on buying one? :)

Currently shopping the Z570 vs the Z575. Both are similarly priced at ~$435 this Labor Day weekend.

Z570 at Office Depot for 430 with a free $20 gift card (I3-2310M, 750gb hard drive)
    http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/790098/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Z570-1024-3VU-Laptop/

Z575 at Lenovo Direct for 439 (500gb hard drive, Llano A4-3300M)

AFAIK the only difference is the cpu/chipset. Is that what others see when they compare these two models?

That's a good find! I also noticed a bit ago that the Thinkpad Edge E525 is available at a base price of $499.
I'd say these Llano notebooks are priced decently. :)

The Z570 CPU would be faster but the Z575 graphics are faster. The Z575 Llano's CPU can be easily overclocked almost up to the i3-2310M speeds and the battery life should last longer (on default without overclock) but the Y570 comes 750GB hard drive.

It's really up to you, both are good buys and have exactly the same exterior frame.

If you're not into overclocking even though it's fairly easy with software, and there's a bunch of guides on this forum then I'd recommend the Z570 over the Z575.

If you care about video quality, play some light games and care for a bit more battery life then the Z575 is the way to go, overclocking the CPU and GPU is an added bonus on the Z575.
