I've been researching a lot into the Y580 recently and I'm likely going to be picking one up.

I just found a model of the Y580 with 1080p display, and 6gb of ram here:

Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 15.6" LED Notebook Computer, 6GB RAM 20994CU

Does anyone have any experience with this website/are they legit?

Also how much of a detriment is it to have the 6GB of ram vs the 8GB.

    Thanks

Adorama is a reputable site, but their specialty is photography and video gear, not computers. But if I found a good deal there, I would not hesitate to purchase from them. I have bought from them for years and never had any problems. The rare times I had an issue, their response was always very satisfactory.

Lenovo's official site has the 500 gb 7200 rpm, 1080p version on sale for 999 right now. Pretty hard deal to beat.

Does the KU model actually comes with a 1080p display?

Lenovo's official site is the best place to buy a Y580 laptop.
