    Hi guys,

I have owned this computer for a little over a year. This problem has only been coming up within the past month.

Whenever I try to play Battlefield Bad Company 2(a graphics demanding game?), my computer suddenly shuts off about 5 or 10 minutes into playing.

I assume this is from overheating. If so, what can I do to fix it? I never had this problem before.

    Thanks

The thermal paste on your heat sink is most likely getting old and I would put some new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Also, check to make sure there isn't any dust built up by the exhaust fan. If the y560 is anything like my y460, accessing the heat sink should be extremely easy. I would also look into getting a laptop cooling pad if you think it's still too hot.
