    Hi,

I'm looking at the Ideapad 320 and Ideapad 520 as an option for my girlfriend's dad. (The Intel 7th Gen models)

The 2 models can be kitted out essentially equivalently hardware-wise, so what's the difference between the 2? I'm assuming it's a build quality issue.

Also, the website is a woefully lacking - can either or both of these models support an m.2 ssd? I'd like to go with a 128 GB ssd + 1 TB HDD combo.

    Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the feedback! I have been looking at the 700 series as a matter of fact. I'll look a bit more now.

After having put my hands on one the other day, I'm thinking I might steer him towards the Acer Swift 3.

I just got the 720s and I'm LOVING it! Thing is fast and smooth. The fan's a little annoying, but small potatoes.

, super guy can you tell me a little bit about the battery life and the GPU performance can you use it with full brightness on on high performance for more than 5 hours and is it possible to hook up an egpu to it I have one pre-ordered kind of I don't know if that's the right term but I have it ordered and it's locked in place all I have to do is release the funds through my debit card and then they will ship it

Sorry I didn't see this. I've been on the road for 2 weeks with a lot of craziness.

I have treated battery life as I've always been near an outlet (hotel, shorter flight and plane has power, etc). Haven't had time to do any games either.

Running a Linux VM is pretty fast though.
Sorry I can't be more help.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with it though. My only gripes are the crackling audio and the fan.
