    I ordered an IdeaPad y500 on July 7th. The estimated ship date is July 31st, and the estimated delivery date is August 8th. Based on the things which other customers have said, it seems like it'll take longer than usual for me (I'm in Toronto) Can someone confirm if this is the average time? :confused:

    when i ordered last time it was shipped within 5 business days even though the estimate time was 2 weeks, but maybe thats just because i called to cancel the order the day after i ordered it.

    Their estimated shipping dates are usually delayed, and you have to jump on the orders that are new and will have an estimated shipping date within a couple of days. I ordered mine on July 8th, estimated ship for 11th, and delivered today on the 15th.

    Alright, quick update, guys.
    The laptop was shipped out way earlier than expected! :D
    Scheduled delivery date is next Monday.
    Just waiting for it to get past customs now.. any idea how long it'll take?
