Im seriously thinking about buying this model from the outlet below.
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/LenovoOutlet/Items/ca4051xb3?&caSKU=ca4051xb3&caTitle=IdeaPad%20Y530%20Refurbished%20(Black)%20with%20Free%20Bag
Lonovo doesnt explain the condition of the outlet models (that I can find) is
this machine going to be in 'rough' condition. Just seems like a very cheap price.
Thanks guys.

Hi!
I have an IdeaPad Y530, and I absolutely love it! My model is a bit better than yours Processor and graphics wise, but the model you chose should be fine for light gaming, movies, music, and internet/word processing.
I wrote a review of mine if you want to get an idea:

I am a huge fan of Lenovo, and I find this laptop to be a great purchase.
Good Luck!

Just don't wait to long those deals can go quickly. I was going to order a X301 but waited to long, did order a x300 from the outlet that I'm very excited about. If you do a search for people talking about outlet purchases it sounds like most are normally in great/new condition.

Yep somebody got it allready......

New ones come up often, just check back I'm sure you'll find something else good.

I steered one of my staff towards the Lenovo outlet for a 530 a few weeks back. She had it shipped to work and it looked brand new. Came with the LED backlighting as well (not specificed on the sale details). She got a fantastic deal on it. I would guess that Lenovo spec refurbs them in the same manner as Dell. A 'refurb' is reconditioned to 'new' condition (on my 2nd Dell refurb now, they both looked brand new when I got them).
Based on the order experience that my staffer had, I'd recommend the outlet. Also seen many positive comments from lenovo outlet buyers happy with their purchases. -
also got mine from the outlet and came in "new" condition including all packaging materials and manuals
very happy with outlet experience, plus arrived in less than a week
IdeaPad Y530?
