IdeaPad Y510p shipping time in Canada?

Hi, I ordered a Y510p single GPU version (dual GPU not available in Canada atm) on June 25th, and it says that Estimated ship date is July 9th.

But I've been seeing a lot of people are experiencing large delay in shipping.

Would my order properly ship on the 9th or will it get delayed?

 

VERY unlikely my friend. I ordered the same model as you on their website and has been changed to July 15th... It's outrageous, it was initially supposed to be delivered at my house for tomorrow, bt has been delayed an entire two weeks! I'm on the same boat since I'm in Canada. And keep in mind, that's a whole 14 or so business day delay. SImply put, sorry buddy, I highly doubt it will ship July 9th, once it nears your shipping date, they delay it again days at a time. So either you keep patient, or you simply cancel your order like what I have thoughts of doing and purchasing local without the strenuous waiting time.

 

damn, I was really hoping to receive it sometime mid-July, so I can enjoy my summer break with new laptop. :/

 

I ordered the y410p on the 18th and it didn't ship until the 25th, and I still don't have it because UPS is investigating a mysterious damage claim (That I know nothing about) since the 2nd. According to UPS, it is IN MY CITY since the 2nd, and I don't know what happened to it, how they are taking 2 full days to investigate the damage report, how long it will take, or if they'll send it back to Lenovo. I know nothing. It may end up taking A FULL MONTH to get my laptop.

Lenovo's shipping process is a nightmare. UPS's delivery service is extremely inadequate. Combine them together... Will I ever get my package?

 

Ordered mine on June 10th, got it on June 28th.
