So, I bought some new ssd's for this. I created the recovery media using this process Methodology to create Recovery Media and reload a Lenovo Think system with Microsoft Windows 8 preload and following those steps I get an error every time when I start restoring to a blank disk. I wipe it and choose the partition option and every time it fails. Using the diskpart command (detail disk) only 3 partitions show up after the error:
    1. (Volume 0) WINRE_DRV, 1000MB, Healthy, Hidden
    2. (Volume 1) SYSTEM_DRV, 260MB, Healthy, Hidden
    3. (Volume 3) LRS_ESP, 1000MB, Healthy, Hidden

I'm pretty sure there are supposed to be 4. Why is this not working? The Lenovo guide specifically says the created recovery media can be used on an empty drive.

While in Windows all the drives show up and are 100% functional.
