This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    pretty new laptop and just wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it. I already read the view that was posted here, but was just curious to hear other people's comments as well.

    this laptop looks perfect, but the nvidia GPU is a bit weak for what I want. I wish they would have put in the ATI 4650 =/

    I don't know if you're referring to my review or the one by this site but my last post on my thread stated that I was going to return mine. Unfortunately I missed the deadline to return it, so I'm stuck with it. The 3 biggest downfalls (and they are big downfalls imo) is the size (it's the size of a 17" not 16"), the hard mouse clicker, and most of all, the jagged screen (I do not know if this is due to the video card, the resolution, or the screen but it really sucks that my old Toshiba Satellite had a better looking screen than this does).

    Maybe these downfalls would be livable if the computer were smaller. I personally wouldn't recommend this particular model. The smaller ones might be a better choice if you really want one of the new Ideapads.
