I'm planning to go for IBM T60P.
IBM's are now made in china? What about the quality? IBM stopped notebook business? Only Lenovo available now?

IBM's were made in China by Lenovo for years. But recently the Thinkpad line was sold to Lenovo completely, and now the top management is Lenovo, not IBM. Still, it's pretty much the same notebook.
