    IBM wireless adatper compatible with other notebook brands?

    Not sure if this should be posted in the Lenovo or Network section so feel free to move to the correct one mods.

    I used to have a T60p with the Intel wireless card. Didn't like it, so I went out and bought the IBM one, it was great. Now that I'm using a Sony laptop with the same Intel 3945 card, would I be able to still use the IBM one assuming they're all mini pci-express?

    I don't see why I wouldn't be able to, but just wanted to hear some opinions before I put the money down.

    Yeah, the limitation only goes one way, IIRC. You can use TP cards on everything, but only TP cards on TPs. (Without a hack)
