    Not sure if this belong in the Network forum, so please move it mod if it does.

    is the IBM mini-pcie wireless adapter thats Atheros based only compatible with Lenovo notebooks?

    I purchased the said adapter and swapped it out with the Intel 3945 one, and even though the driver is installed, Vista doesn't seem to think its there. Is this possible or should I just swap it back to the Intel one? I find the IBM one much better.

    Exactly which adapter did you get and what machine did you get. Need model and fru numbers.
    Some will require a bios patch to work, etc. for example.
