    Hi guys
im having a very hard time trying to get my Thinkpat T41 to work, all i get when i boot it up is Four cycles of four short beeps and a blank screen. checked it out and it means there is a system board (Security chip ) Error,
the only indications of life on it are the beeps, the power indecator and the CPU fan is running but nothing els, the screen is blank, all i remeber is that i left the laptop doing a automatic update and after it was done i shutdown the laptop then it never started again

    FRU is 93p3307
model is Thinkpad T41 type 2372

what can i do to get it working again

You might have to flash the BIOS using a USB floppy drive and a hotkey combination to boot from it (I forget the exact keys), but don't quote me on this.
